About Hike & Hire

Hike & Hire is an independent job board for the outdoor industry, based in the Kansas City area and run by Cody Rochester. Outdoor jobs are scattered across hundreds of small employer sites. We bring them together so people can find seasonal and year-round outdoor work in one place.

How we use automation

Jobs are collected from employers' public career pages with automated tools and reviewed before publishing. We use AI tools to help gather and format listings, and a person reviews what goes up. We only collect public job postings: no LinkedIn or Indeed scraping, and no recruiter names or personal contact details. Apply directly on the employer's site.

If you'd like a listing changed or removed, or don't want your jobs collected, email hello@hikeandhire.com and we'll act within 24 hours.
